I went to Donica Laboratory this morning for my annual physical examination or APE. Yes, this one's for the ape in us. I drove as fast as I could coz I wanted to beat the 12NN break. You know how businesses work; everything stops by the stroke of 12.

The first thing I did was submit a urine sample. The nurse gave me a specimen bottle with a #20 mark on it. It’s a mini test tube. Remember chem lab classes? Yes, think of the smaller... no no the smallest version. My reaction was what the fuck? How do I get my pototoy fit into that??? I went to the washroom. Spent a few minutes thinking how to "catch" my wiwi. Hell, how do I piss on this shitty tube? At last I was able to but I ended up pissing my hand too. Fresh piss. Hot off the pototoy.

Next stop is ECG. The attendant asked me to cozy up in a bed stuck in the corner of the room. He got some really weird stuff and put them on my chest and ankles. If my medical proficiency is as good as my mom and sis, I think they’re called globular nodes. For a moment I thought of myself ensconced in a high-tech laboratory somewhere in Zimbabwe (the capital of which is Harare – no need for you to scratch your dandruff-infested hair) and this weird-looking attendant doing nasty stuff on me. I’m helpless coz after all I’m his hapless guinea pig. Do guinea pigs live in Papua New Guinea? OK, back to Reality Bites starring Winona Ryder and Ethan Hawke. Nice film. Nice music. I forgot the title but it goes like “ma ma my sharona” something to that effect.

Well dementia was slowly creeping into me. It’s terrible when that happens coz people think I’m AB but you know, it’s just natural, naturally E. Choose Myra or Squibb - but I prefer the one sold in Healthy Options, 400 IU please. I needed to get out of Donica as fast I could. Then.... there was a vision. Pero bago yun, may lumabas labas muna na mga usok sa paligid (background music by Enigma) Sino ka??? Ahhh stay away from me DONICA Sotto…. FCUK, I’m wet-dreaming again. That’s French Connection United Kingdom. Nice brand. U Rustan’s Makati. I can get you a 10% discount if you're interested.

Passport please

Demented has gone international. I received a comment from a NY-based blogger yesterday. Her blog name’s Danyel. Considering her profile, she appears big-time. Ahemm… Two-thumbs up for demented.

Check out her site:

it's been 2 weeks since i had veggie salad. i'm not blaming anyone but E. if it's not what i want, i won't eat it. the dressing has to be vinaigrette and the veggies romaine lett. add a few slices of tomatoes, cucumbers plus shredded chicken breast (sans skin). that's it!. simple, simply delicious!

i can't wait for tomorrow (kanta 'to diba?). i'll be having canapes. someone's gonna make some - crab meat, grilled chicken and ham. wow.

i went to bf sinangag this morning. ordered the usual beef tapa na parang corned beef na ewan. sarap pa rin. the ever so hot hot chiling nilagyan ng suka never fails to make a dragon of me. firestarter. prodigy. prodigal son. i'm not. i'm different 'coz i'm crazy. oops, i still need to find the perfect straight jacket. i wonder if gian romano can make one for me???

of books and worms

When I’m not running, swimming, cycling, partying, gyrating, talking, eating, drinking, smoking, contemplating, I read books. Yup, this harebrained fellow is a bookworm.

Here’s a list of my abused books:

The Moor’s Last Sigh, Salman Rushdie
The Ground Beneath Her Feet, Salman Rushdie
The Satanic Verses, Salman Rushdie
One Hundred Years of Solitude, Gabriel Garcia Marquez
Love in the Time of Cholera, Gabriel Garcia Marquez
The God of Small Things, Arundhati Roy
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime, Mike Haddon
Ang Paboritong Libro ni Hudas, Bob Ong
Alamat ng Gubat, Bob Ong
Dogeaters, Jessica Hagedorn
Dream Jungle, Jessica Hagedorn
The Prophet, Kahlil Gibran
Crossing the Threshold of Hope, Pope John Paul II
Dusk, F. Sionil Jose
Sins, F. Sionil Jose
Gapo, Lualhati Bautista

Soon-to-be read books:

The Kite Runner, Khaled Hosseini
The Sari Shop, Rupa Bajwa
The Autumn of the Patriarch, Gabriel Garcia Marquez
Midnight’s Children, Salman Rushdie

salmon + rash = die

Salman Rushdie, one of my favorite writers, is controversial. To put it bluntly this man is scandalous.

I came across this interesting bit while reading his (in)famous Satanic Verses: “Do holy men ever fuck?”

Makes me wonder, do they? What do you think? Throw in your piece of shit.

L' Japonais

In recent years, the French fashion establishment has been rocked by the influx of Orientalia influence. Seeing a Lacroix or a Saint Laurent down the catwalk with apparent Japanese touches has become as ordinary as, say, a quaint Parisian café serving croissant and coffee americaine on Champs-Elysees.

The Japanese has always been at the forefront of anything innovative, high-tech, out of this world and “shocking/hey why didn’t I think of that” concepts. Think crazy pleats by Miyake or a destructured frock by Kawakubo for Commes de Garcon.

The influence in fashion doesn’t end there as evidenced by these pictures I got from the net. Now, that’s what I call a V-front and a V-back. Suddenly a T-back becomes passé. These V-babes remind me of the sashimi of the pinkish variety.

jack's beside jill's

iisa lang ba may-ari ng bars na ‘to? tapos magkatabi pa. makes me wonder who went up the hill. corny (gerald wag humirit ha…) jill’s kinda cool on friday and saturday nights. reminds me of temple when it was still the coolest party place to hang out. hindi na rin ako nakabalik sa temple. matagal-tagal na. the last time was around q2 with ginger and fides and their friends. what was the name of that hip-hop guy? i remember eli, jeck, sino pa ba? ah and kiko, ginge’s bro. i even forgot the name of the lady who was celebrating her birthday. bad E.

what’s the point of this entry? ok, i was at the fort strip again earlier. jack’s to be exact. had a few bottles of san mig with jg talking business. drinking, smoking, business = cool mix. didn’t i mention that the fort’s a good place for babe watching? and jill’s dj is so fuckin’ hot (or is she the bartender?) ang puti puti at ang kinis ng kutis. now that’s likas working.

on our way to jack’s i saw katrina tantoco at filo’s. she looks pretty. tanned, that's real sexy. lovely face, sweet gurl. hmmm mag-pinsan kaya sila ni patrick?

a few weeks ago inquirer super had a super event at nbc. i happen to be there and wow kc concepcion is one hell of a babe. panalo.

and still cubed. pathetic. i miss friday nights at temple.

@the consulate

My friend Ronna got back from England. That’s good news. My gimmick bud is finally in the metro! Cool nights are here again.

I met her through Ramil- my best bud, ramp model and singer wannabe (watch out Martin he’ll beat you). While waiting for Gabbie (Ram’s cool, intellectual business associate), Ramil and I were having coffee sips at Starbucks GB3. Tapos dumating itong 2 lovely chicks: Ronna and Dianne (a head-turner no wonder she's a model). Umupo pa sa tabing table namin. Good thing that Ramil and Ronna are friends.

After a few days, we were hitting Embassy and rocking the club's dance floor. What I like about Ron is that she dances well. She’s one hot cool (pano yun?) babe. She wears her minis and boy, all the guys are after her. Hehehe.

Since then, we’ve been stomping on Embassy regularly. We’d drink and dance until morning. 6AM to be exact. Yung tipong pagbaba mo sa club, uyy may araw na pala. Then we’d head to Rufus for some tapa and tocino. Sarap!

orland conducted a VSM training last week, that's Value Stream Mapping for those who're (whores..hehe) technically incompetent hehehe. 'twas the day after my Subic trip and my back muscles were still aching after a night of driving. rey t and i went to Subic, official business of course, but we managed to throw in some unofficial stuff. i toured him around the freeport - upper cubi, binictican, waterfront drive, el kabayo, triboa bay villas.. etc. i know this place well. thanks to acer.

anyway back to VSM, i was not in my top form; the training was whole day. my mind's shuttling between the GM's boardroom and my own bedroom. i need more sleep. it was hard feigning attention into the whole VSM stuff. you see i'm not good at faking things, including orgasm (ang hirap nun ah). ohmygolly, my droopiness was too obvious.

the consolation for the day was the merienda (clap clap clap): nacho king chips, mallows (my favorite) and coffee (didn't help).

after the day's act, i still managed to wear a neat smile.

I fell in love with running 5 years ago in Subic. Milo marathon was having its qualifying leg in Olongapo and Gino, my triathlete friend, was joining. I decided to give it a try and boy, now I’m addicted to it.

My running routine includes a major run once a week. That is anywhere between 15 to 20km, roughly 90 to 120 minutes running time, non-stop, rain or shine, at any given time. Apart from this, I have to do a 30-min run at least twice a week. Cool! Sore muscles – heaven!

Subic is a sportsman’s paradise. Back then, we’d swim everyday at Subic International Hotel. Gino’s good with the butterfly and freestyle. Mine’s breaststroke but I’m hitting freestyle now. I miss Subic. I was there 2 nights ago and I was so pissed that Vasco’s had no more pink salmon sashimi. I really need to go back there.

Fuck, writing about swimming reminded me that I left my paddles at the pool last week. Utter stupidity.

Pink Nips

When I’m in Subic Bay, I never fail to visit Vasco’s Bar at Magellan’s Landing. I’m hooked with its pink salmon sashimi. I don’t know where they get their salmon stuff, but surely it’s a wow. I was there last night and fuck of fuckers, the bar has been without pink salmon for 3 months now! I told Bryan (the bar’s owner who happens to be a diver) and Rose (his wife) that I traveled all the way from the metro for this shit. Tapos I ended up eating Aussie burger lang pala. AUSSIE BURGER!!! – pagkalaki-laki ng serving. I guess you can’t have everything you want.

I’m fed up. FedEx. Fed Sex. Now, that’s worth a burp.

All's cool holey shit

Vodka 7 at Ebisu
Weng Weng at Temple
Coco-lychee-tini at Embassy

I was supposed to join a bunch of friends on an out-of-town trip. 5:30PM na and yet no one’s finalizing the trip details. Heck, I ditched the idea and headed to BGC and met my college bud. After munching on salad and dimsums, off we went to QC for some fun. Kung ano man yun, it’s up to me and my buddy. Hehehe. Well, it was one hella good night.
